The substantial frame is bench-made from solid reclaimed teak wood, celebrated for its dense structural integrity, rich native grain texturing, and eco-conscious history. The design centers around the continuous panel of hand-turned Mousharabi fretwork dressing the backrest and front apron. Historically utilized in Mediterranean and North African riads to diffuses harsh sunlight and foster airflow, this intricate lattice screen creates an evolving, sculptural interplay of light and shadow throughout the day.
This mid-size daybed strikes an elegant balance, contrasting its dense geometric woodwork with light, open-spindle side railings and a gracefully contoured, flowing top rail.
