This is a gorgeous, large vintage Florentine box with an amazing still life print decoupaged on the top and a … Read more This is a gorgeous, large vintage Florentine box with an amazing still life print decoupaged on the top and a classic gilt and cream design on the border and sides. There are faint signs of wear where the gilt/painted surface has worn or chipped, but that is to be expected with an item that is 60-70 years old! The top has some scuffs and small water marks, but it is still such a gorgeous piece and those details read as patina, not as damage. The interior is a gorgeous lacquered finish and the lid has a few cracks to that lacquer layer but they are structurally insignificant; please see the photos for more details.
