This is a highly decorative Victorian English majolica piece with exceptional surface movement and wonderful naturalistic detail. The leaves appear to lift from the plate, giving the platter a lush botanical presence that displays beautifully.

The underside has impressed factory/model markings, and the piece has been identified as George Jones by knowledgeable majolica collectors.
