It was my grandmothers. Made by Waechtersbach, marked on bottom of dishes. Stamped W. It has 4 removable fan shaped floral embellished porcelain perimeter dishes nestled around a central circular lidded condiment pot. They are made of fine German earthenware.
The segmented ceramic dish features a delicate blue lace-like border pattern combined with hand-painted multi-color floral bouquets. Hand-painted delicate blue iris or wildflower floral motifs with intricate blue scrolling borders, It rests elevated upon a ribbed-accent brass -plated pedestal stand, creating a tiered presentation ideal for holiday gatherings, appetizers, or candy buffet displays. Pedestal is 12.5" round X 6" High with center dish and lid with finial it is 11 " high
My mother's notes claim it is circa 1898. The brass shows tarnish at rim of lid and could use polishing. 2 of the dishes show some staining, not noticeable with food in them.. No chips or crazing. Please ask for additional photos. Center dish is 5" round See less
