Beautiful vintage Pickard China porcelain vase (circa 1938–1955). The vase features Pickard's distinctive all-over gold floral decoration with an intricately etched/encrusted pattern of flowers and scrolling foliage. The interior is finished in a lovely aqua/turquoise blue, providing a striking contrast to the gold exterior.
The vase has an elegant flared rim, gently scalloped outline, tapered body and raised foot. The underside bears the Pickard China lion mark. A particularly attractive example of mid-century American decorative porcelain, suitable for display as a bud vase or simply as a decorative object.
