A soothing mid-century painting that captures a quiet coastal settlement perched along a pale, windswept cliff, executed in oil onto canvas.

A cluster of modest houses with whitewashed walls topped with muted red and charcoal roofs rests gently against a backdrop of dense, dark green foliage. To the left, a sliver of calm turquoise sea meets a soft, expansive sky, creating a sense of openness and air. Sparse, linear elements – possibly masts or fishing lines – punctuate the scene, hinting at a working coastal life without disrupting its stillness.

Executed in a restrained, modernist style, the composition leans into simplicity and atmosphere over detail.
