Porcelain nautilus shell form mounted as an open cup on a cast brass pedestal with dolphin figure supporting a foliate cradle. Raised on a malachite-glazed ceramic plinth with brass bun feet. Shell exterior painted in naturalistic brown-and-white tiger nautilus pattern; interior glazed white. Scallop shell and rocaille decoration on the brass column. No maker's marks.
