A standout statement piece from the Maison Martine atelier in Naples, Florida—this three-drawer Baroque-style dresser was sourced as a vintage Pulaski chest and completely transformed by hand by founder Martine into a one-of-a-kind artisan furniture piece.
The original green finish was removed entirely and replaced with a warm, sun-drenched tangerine—a color chosen for its Mediterranean resonance, its boldness, and its ability to anchor a room without overwhelming it. The finish was then hand-distressed at natural wear points with careful, unhurried intention and finished with an artisan patination technique that lends the piece the kind of warm, layered depth normally only achieved by decades of natural aging.
The original ornate metal drawer pulls with scrollwork—two per drawer—and the carved apron embellishment at the base have been retained in their entirety, their intricate detailing now beautifully offset against the tangerine ground. To enhance stability on any type of flooring, the piece is now equipped with four brand-new adjustable leveling feet, discreetly installed to keep the dresser perfectly balanced—even on older or uneven surfaces. This small but meaningful upgrade ensures the piece sits securely and maintains its graceful posture in your home.
This is not a painted dresser in the mass-market sense. It is a Maison Martine original—furniture treated as a canvas.
The piece ships with a Maison Martine Certificate of Transformation, documenting its origin, the artisan process, and its unique identity.
