This pair of vintage brass Mallard Duck bookends is attributed to Philadelphia Manufacturing Company (PM Craftsman). The Mallard ducks are captured mid-flight, featuring highly detailed wing feathers and distinct polychrome painted heads.
They are made with a heavy cast bronze-finished metal or lacquered brass, mounted onto weighted metallic bases with a gold-tone trim band.
The Bookends are in Very Good preloved condition with a few minor scratches as a result of normal use.
Each measures 5 1/2” Tall x 4 1/4” Wide x 3 1/2” Deep. The pair weighs 3 pounds 6.5 ounces or 54.46 ounces or 1544 grams.
