A vintage "Le Bambole" loveseat designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, one of the most celebrated and influential seating designs of the 20th century.
Originally introduced in 1972 and awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro, the Bambole series transformed upholstered furniture through its fully integrated, frame-less construction and sculptural, inviting form. The design remains one of Bellini's most iconic works and is represented in major museum collections worldwide.
This loveseat represents a later B&B Italia production dating to the late 1990s or early 2000s, retaining the original design intent while benefiting from updated internal structure and materials. Upholstered in its original signature red B&B Italia textile, its generous proportions, soft curves, and enveloping silhouette create a piece that is equally functional and sculptural.
