Vintage, or possibly antique oval transferware platter with a green floral pattern. It has a raised embossed design on the edge. This is beautiful and heavy and has just the right amount of patina to make it interesting, but no crazing, chips or cracks, so you can still use it. It has a few age spots and some mild scratches, no crazing. This is a large and deep platter, perfect for serving any course for a crowd or to style your French or English country style home. This is marked Semi Porcelain which is an interchangeable name for Ironstone.
