This is a wonderful room statement piece. I do believe it to be French. The wiring is all in good condition and looks like it has been rewired at some point in time. It does have some chipping and some minor rust along with some paint wear overall age-appropriate condition. It is approximately 19 inches wide by 31 inches tall it does have its cap and currently has two links of chain. See less
