This retro handsome fellow is looking for a new place to hang out, your home perhaps? Kept indoors all his life, this cutie will continue to look as great as he does today if kept indoors or, if placing outdoors, keep him out of the out of the elements on a covered patio, entryway or screened in porch. The fabulous creamy linen hue contrasts nicely with the subtle off white undertones. On the top platform you will find an incised Chinese shòu character surrounded by four flying bats, which represents longevity. On each side the decorative motif consists of the same Chinese shòu character accompanied by an incised floral and scrolled vine motif. This cutie measures 17” x 20½” x 9” H/D/W; platform 7¼” x 7” W/D; weight approximately 20 lbs.; handcrafted from moulded earthenware. Handcrafted in Vietnam by an unknown artisan (stenciled makers initial on the underside), sometime in the 1970s. In excellent condition; glazed finish is nicely preserved, minimal crazing and wear as a whole.

As an eclectic plant stand or petite side table, in or out of doors, this cutie will complement most any décor style impeccably!
