Handsome vintage 1930s to 1950s Transitional, Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, and Modern Farmhouse Gentleman’s chest composed of solid maple bearing three drawers with hand carved oval pulls and a matching wall mirror. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the top has been refinished but the body retains the original finish with an all over patina including age and wear as you would expect with a vintage piece. That’s right… this is a FABULOUS vintage Gentleman’s chest composed of a stunning solid maple frame bearing three graduating storage drawers with distinctive hand carved oval pulls and a MARVELOUS matching wall mirror composed of a rectangular mirror surrounded by a spectacular solid maple frame. This incredible piece was made in a time frame where furniture styles were evolving… so there is a REAL mixture of styles within the make-up of this early part of Mid-20th Century design. I mean… we call it Transitional, but it bears aesthetics including Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, Shaker, and Modern Farmhouse, just to name a few. We can just visualize this set-up in your Modern Country, Farmhouse, Dude Ranch, or Traditional home among other like décor or in juxtaposition with styles like Industrial, Contemporary, or Hollywood Regency.
