The frame is decorated with scrolls, acanthus leaves, and C-shaped volutes characteristic of the Louis XV style. The central pediment features a decoration of foliate tendrils and shells. The mirror, with its original mercury backing, displays dendritic oxidation typical of antique mirrors, attesting to its authenticity.
