Created in the late 1920s, the chair reflects jacobsen’s early fascination with lightweight organic forms crafted from rattan and wicker — long before his legendary egg and swan chairs.

originally presented as part of the visionary “house of the future” exhibition in copenhagen in 1929, the design became an early symbol of scandinavian functionalism. Its sculptural silhouette and handcrafted construction make the “paris” chair one of the most collectible pieces produced by sika design today.

this example comes with original black leather cushions. Beautiful vintage condition with natural patina, visible age and minor imperfections to the wicker adding authentic character.
