Genoese Baroque walnut kneeler. Drawer in the lower section, central door with carving of St. John the Baptist at the fountain, uprights with leaf carvings that echo the drawer, and a fold-down kneeler top concealing a compartment underneath. Feet with lion heads, poplar interior. Liguria, 17th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
