This model is called Carrelle and is picured and documented in 'Goed Wonen Magazine' of early sixties.

During the sixties, many European furniture companies started to produce teak furniture in the modernist Scandinavian /Danish style. Dutch company Auping worked with a number of famous designers such as Wim Rietveld, Andre Cordemeyer, and Friso Kramer. The style is clearly influenced by the designs of Cees Braakman and Pastoe, in particular the Japanese series.
