Recently found at … Read more This minimalist studio pottery vase features a unique geometric form that makes it a striking sculptural piece. Recently found at an estate sale in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, it showcases a distinct architectural design where a flat, rectangular fin cleanly divides a round, bulbous body. Both sides of the vase are connected on the inside.

The vase is finished in a smooth, matte white glaze that highlights its clean lines and creates dramatic shadows. Two opening are at the top is designed to hold a minimal floral arrangement or a single decorative branch. On the bottom, the rough, sandy clay base features an incised spiral potter's mark along with an illegible signature.

The piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or structural damage. There is faint crazing throughout the glaze — these lines are generally invisible in normal room lighting and only show up under studio lights.
