Circa 1965-1975 by Lee Barnes Peck and his wife Naomi Peck. Both were highly trained and skilled craftsmen of the modernist era and Lee Barnes was an instructor as well a jeweler. Highly elaborate and decorative wood box with a swivel mounted attached lid. 3.75" wide, 3" deep and 2 3/4" tall in an oval configuration. Felt lined. The electroplated copper features various metal from Gold to silver in an etched pattern showing macaw parrots. In outstanding condition naturally with patina. The woods used are elaborate such as Paduk, Purple Heart and zebra wood. Signed to the lid as well as beneath the wood box. A Brilliant example of American Craftsmanship. A perfect gift, unique and one of a kind as well as paractical.
No marks or blemishes.
