Dentil molding accentuates the crown over side-by-side top drawers mounted on a stack of six spacious drawers. Of the eight drawers, seven drawers retain functioning locks with two keys included (the upper left drawer does not lock). Heavy brass drop handles facilitate easy opening and closing of the drawers which have been thoroughly cleaned inside. The base unit projects slightly beyond the chest on top, underscoring the feeling of permanence and strength, rising on beautifully carved bracket feet.
