The table features two beautifully carved drawers with wood knobs, each flanked by floral carving, and is raised on six turned legs resting on a lower trestle base. The chestnut shows a beautiful patina, with darker and lighter tones reflecting across the top and base. Age related separation of two planks and old distress along the top show old repairs. Nicks, gouges, scratches, and signs of old wormhole activity are seen along the top and base. Please note the wormholes are old, dry, and no longer active. The base shows a rich dark patina, and both drawers function. Restored, strong, stable, and ready for use.
