A stunning pair of modernist late 20th century floor lamps made in the style and manner of Karl Springer and Charles Hollis Jones. The lamps featuring clear Lucite columnar sleeves positioned around gilt metal stems. Each lamp is constructed with a slender central gilt metal shaft visible through a transparent cylindrical Lucite tube. The column is mounted to a stepped gilded metal plinth base creating a refined and modern silhouette. The lamps are completed with large off-white cylindrical drum shades. The lamps are designed in a modern Hollywood Regency style, and the tall and narrow profile makes the lamps well suited for flanking a sofa, console,, bed, or club chairs. The floor lamps are in exceptional, well preserved condition as seen in photos. The lamps are unmarked. Sold as a pair. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
