Dramatic grain movement, clean architectural lines, and an extremely heavy, substantial build quality throughout.
Original bed rails are not included. The original rail system also functioned as structural support for the headboard, so custom rear support braces have been added for stability. Several setup options are possible depending on buyer preference, including:
French cleat / wall mounting, Custom fabricated bed rails, or frame Adapter brackets for a standard queen bed frame. A photo showing how previous owner had set up is provided in the listing.

Overall presentation is excellent, especially when viewed as a complete piece. The dramatic wood grain and high-gloss finish help visually minimize most imperfections at normal viewing distance. Close-up photos with Sharpie pointer have been included to accurately highlight the primary finish flaws and edge wear. Most are difficult to notice unless inspected closely under direct lighting.
