One of ten in a collection of sculptural postmodern pottery teapots, each with a feminist witch design. They come from a collector's estate in Minneapolis and were purchased at the Northern Clay Center in the late 1990s.
This unique piece features a two-part ceramic design where the green-faced witch’s head serves as the lid, complete with a pointed hat, a six-pointed star earring, and a straw broomstick accessory. The witch's right arm extends out to form the pouring spout.
Signed on the underside; Approx 10-inches tall by 5.75-inches wide by depth of 5.75-inches. Interior is clean and looks unused. Based on the other teapots, the signature appears to be Jaron.
Excellent condition, no notable flaws and truly unique!
