Easy chair - sw 50 designer: herta maria witzemann year: around 1960 manufacturer: formtex, stuttgart country: germany measurements: h 70 cm sh 37 cm w 60 cm d 80 cm material: round steel welded and painted black, cushion foam with upholstery fabric condition: very good condition
we acquired the four frames from the estate of a berlin architect, fridtjof schliephacke. After researching an original catalog image, thanks to pascal bucheli of buma design, our upholsterer was able to create new cushions based on the original model. Our examples may be test pieces and prototypes of a small series produced at formtex stuttgart.
