The exhibition poster print is published by The Australian National Gallery, printed in 1985 in Australia in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the " Ken Tyler Printer Extraordinary " exhibition, 6 June - 13 October 1985. It features an artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1984 titled " Amaryllis in Vase ", on loan from Ken Tyler, New York State.

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

Kenneth E. Tyler founder of Tyler Graphics Ltd. is considered by many to be the most accomplished Contemporary master printer and publisher. He is an arts educator and prominent figure in the American Post-War revival of fine art limited edition printmaking. His technically advanced expertise and willingness to experiment on a bold scale drew many famous and influential artists to his workshops, among them David Hockney, Frank Stella, Helen Frankenthaler, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, and Jasper Johns.

The rare out of print framed lithograph print exhibition poster measures 22 1/8" W X 34" H X 1 1/2" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern satin finish whitewashed white oak wood museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age, and very light signs of handling.
