A lovely, large porcelain basin by Wood & Son out of Burslem, Staffordshire, a company in operation from the mid-19th century into the late 20th century. This elegant example is a large bowl with two slightly protruding handles. The pattern is elegant cobalt blue on white, a floral design called "Duchess" both applied with care to both interior and exterior (rather restrained design for the time).
The perfect size for a centerpiece, this decorative bowl adds the perfect timeless intrigue to any decor. Blue & White will never be out of style!
