This is a 19th-century Venetian Baroque armchair. The chair features the fluid lines, sinuous curves, and cabriole legs typical of the Louis XV or Baroque Rocaille style.
It includes an open pierced splat back and scroll profiles on the arms and legs. Backrest features an elegantly profiled, pierced vertical splat with a central heart-shaped cutout motit.
