Gilles Aillaud (1928-2005) was a French painter, scenographer, and author known for his focus on themes such as animals in zoological parks and seaside landscapes. In 1965, he was elected president of the Salon de la Jeune Peinture. Aillaud collaborated on collective works with fellow artist Eduardo Arroyo and built an impressive portfolio of exhibitions throughout his life.
