Beautiful, vintage brass torchiere floor lamp, circa 1960's. Featuring Neoclassical and Hollywood Regency luxury design elements. Whispers of ancient Greek and Roman architecture grace the design as well. This rare piece features a bell shaped top, floral medallions, three fluted columns, ornate accents and embellishments throughout.
Large in stature with grand presence and high-brow aesthetic, that will draw attention to decorative molding in a room or a particular piece of artwork on the wall. Highly complimentary piece of art in and of itself. It graced the estate of my late Grandmother in Saddle River, NJ for several decades. It measures: 70.5" in height and 16: in width at the top. A heavy and substantial piece.
