This Stella Polaris series bowl is one of the most recognizable examples of Swedish art glass, created in 1939 by the legendary designer Vicke Lindstrand for the exclusive Orrefors workshop.
The name “Stella Polaris” (North Star) perfectly reflects its sculptural form — the flowing organic folds radiating from the base resemble a shining star or melting ice crystal. The soft “Glacial Blue” tone gives the bowl a cool depth that changes beautifully depending on the light, creating a unique interplay of reflections and shadows.
The base is engraved with “Orrefors,” confirming the authenticity of the piece.
