It has the original metal liner. It looks like it's had only one coat of paint, white. It is sturdy, not wobbly. There two places where the wicker weave is loose or damaged but overall pretty intact. I love these planters because you can move them, use them for things other than plants, and they are narrow so they fit in anywhere. A summer classic on the porch, the deck, or indoors! See less
