Original antique engraved view of Old St Paul’s Cathedral in London, published by Peter Schenk in Amsterdam, c.1700 / early 18th century. The lower margin includes Dutch and Latin title text, including “De so vermaerde Kerk van S. Paul tot London” and “Templum D. Pauli apud Londinas,” with Schenk’s Amsterdam imprint visible below.
This finely detailed architectural and topographical view shows the cathedral and surrounding London cityscape from across the water, with boats, windmills, buildings, figures, and decorative engraved borderwork.
