Delightful pair of antique porcelain spaniel dog figurines perched atop rich cobalt blue cushions with hand-painted gilt trim. These charming pups feature expressive faces, finely painted fur details, and bright red bow collars that give them plenty of personality. Marked with a gilt Samson gold anchor, a mark associated with Chelsea-style reproductions produced in Germany dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. A wonderful decorative accent for a bookshelf, mantel, or tabletop vignette, and a lovely addition to a collection of antique animal figurines or traditional English-inspired décor.
