An antique Emilian refectory-style writing desk from the mid-18th century, made in the Emilian Apennines between 1750 and 1770. An authentic and charming piece of furniture, characterized by simple lines, original materials, and functionality.

The writing desk features a walnut frame, while the legs are made of chestnut, a combination typical of 18th-century Emilian mountain production. Furthermore, the construction features and the woods used allow us to precisely place the manufacturer in the Emilian Apennines.

The slanted writing surface opens to reveal practical drawers and document compartments. Furthermore, a document compartment is located underneath the top.

The piece of furniture retains all its original elements, including the period key. Furthermore, it is in excellent overall condition and requires only a light cleaning and a preservative wax finish.
