this side table/small console table, is made of walnut and rests on four, bentwood legs with a design typical of the era.

the three shelves have different dimensions.
- the smaller one at the top measures at w: 27.5 cm x d: 24 cm.
- the middle (center) shelf measures at w: 42.5 cm x d:26.5 cm
- the lower (bottom) shelf measure at w: 42.5 cm x d: 23.5 cm.

it is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some very light marks, signs of age, some very light faded areas of color, and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, as is to be expected for a piece of this age. A small hairline of age on the first two shelves (see photos.)

it has only been gently cleaned, oiled and waxed with respect to its original patina.

piece was part of the furniture for the officers quarter's at the air base 112 ( ci 112 ), created in 1909 in reims- champagne, which was a major air base for the french air force. It is marked under the table with the date 30/08/1938 (see photo.)
