The scene depicted on the plate is an intricate reproduction of “ A Mons Seur Desir” ( To My Only Desire) which is the sixth and most famous tapestry from the legendary late 15th Century masterpiece series “The Lady and the Unicorn.
The original tapestries are preserved and displayed at the Musée de Cluny in Paris France
