Hayden Patent Brass Bucket manufactured in Waterbury, Connecticut, circa 1870–1890. This handsome American spun brass bucket features copper rivets, rolled rim, and original dark metal swing handle with cast brass mounts.

The underside retains the impressed maker’s mark:
“H.W. Hayden’s Patent Dec. 16, 1851
Manufactured by Waterbury”

A beautifully proportioned example with warm polished brass surface and excellent presentation. The bucket has a classic Early American / farmhouse aesthetic and works wonderfully as a hearth accessory, cachepot, wine cooler, kindling bucket, or decorative accent.

Unlike many surviving examples, this piece remains in notably strong condition with no major dents, splits, or repairs observed.
