The design follows a reduced, almost graphic formal language, in which the construction and lines remain deliberately visible, lending the piece its architectural expression. The round tabletop is made of lacquered ash wood with a fine, subtly visible grain and appears light and modern thanks to its clean silhouette. The asymmetrically designed base made of chromed steel tubing, combined with a dark lacquered support element, is particularly striking, giving the table stability and at the same time an exciting visual dynamism. This combination of cool metal and understated surface is typical of Thonet designs from this period and underscores the functional, timeless character. The table is ideal as a coffee table or side table and can be integrated into a variety of modern as well as mid-century inspired interiors. The original Thonet label on the underside confirms its provenance and makes this piece an authentic example of late modern German design.
