An elegant and architecturally refined “T333” executive desk designed by Osvaldo Borsani in collaboration with Eugenio Gerli for Tecno, one of the most influential manufacturers in twentieth-century Italian design. Walnut black lacquered table, with polished steel base. Combining sculptural minimalism with highly functional detailing, the desk exemplifies Tecno’s commitment to precision engineering and sophisticated modernist aesthetics. The design is distinguished by its clean rectilinear silhouette and striking structural base composed of paired brushed steel loop legs, creating a rhythmic geometric presence while maintaining an airy visual lightness. The expansive black lacquered top appears to float above the framework, emphasizing the desk’s balanced proportions and refined construction. Two hidden drawers. Integrated pull-out side trays discreetly extend beneath the top surface, offering additional functionality without interrupting the desk’s minimalist profile. This subtle technical sophistication is characteristic of Borsani’s work, where innovation and utility are seamlessly integrated into elegant forms. Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear throught. Osvaldo Borsani remains one of the defining figures of postwar Italian design, celebrated for merging advanced engineering with timeless modernist aesthetics. Through Tecno, Borsani introduced highly innovative office systems and furniture that transformed corporate interiors during the mid- to late twentieth century.
