Elegant wrought iron and gilt brass headboard in the Art Nouveau style, made in Spain in the 1930s. It features a rectangular structure with curved vertical bars in the lower third. The central bars emerge from a mushroom-shaped decorative element flanked by bars with sinuous lines, characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. The upper part, in gilt brass, also displays highly decorative curved lines, as well as a small, ornate central column that crowns the headboard beneath the straight frames at the top.
Includes mounting brackets for securing it to both the bed frame and the wall. About Modernism
Modernism, known in France and Belgium as Art Nouveau, is the term used to describe an artistic movement that took place in Spain between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its main aim was to create a young and new art, freer and more modern, a break with the prevailing academicism of the time.
