This vintage carved Natural Mother of Pearl Shell WWII Military Captain's Hat Brooch Pin dates from the 1940's war era when such pieces were given to military sweethearts., known as Sweetheart Jewelry. The brooch is carved from genuine mother of pearl in the shape of a captain's hat with a sold brass eagle emblem, and measures 2.50 inches wide x 1.50 inches tall.
This piece is in good vintage condition with a bit of normal wear from age and use.
