Finished in a rich iron red with heavy gilding, the bowl features several panels decorated with flowers and rickshaws that are set within its Imari pattern. A wide Imari style gilded band is seen to the bowls interior edge as well as a display of arranged gilded florals on the bottom.Standing approximately 3.5” in height and measuring 8.5” in diameter it is the perfect size for a variety of uses such as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or console display. Light rubbing with very slight gilt loss can be seen at the lip of the bowl as well as the flowers on the bottom of the bowls interior, but this isn't casually noticed or distracting. In beautiful vintage condition otherwise with no chips, cracks, crazing, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Wear is commensurate to age and history of use so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing. See less
