Greg Colson (born April 23, 1956) is an American artist known for his works and sculptures using scavenged materials. Colson's diagrams and maps speak to the detached, abstract quality of much human analysis, at the same time smuggling social critique into each work.
In this piece entitled 'How To Look Your Best', Colson hones in on America's obsession with appearance, informing us of ways to improve our looks by "getting enough sleep" and "eating right." The chart's straightforward design belies its technical sophistication. It required six intaglio plates to create the dark background and colored icons.
The litho is matted and framed in wood and in good condition.
