The form is entirely characteristic of 1940s Danish cabinetmaking at its finest: a generous, high-backed silhouette with a subtly winged crown, a deeply cushioned seat, and the era's signature open armrests in stained solid wood — S-curved in profile, sculpted by hand, and terminating in a fluid, scrolled tip that is as much object as structure. The angled rear legs extend the organic line of the arms with quiet elegance. Together these elements define a chair that is warm, human in scale, and unmistakably Scandinavian.
