Solid oak base with two drawers, the small drawer has a solid macassar ebony handle. The writing section is made out of padouk veneer. The original open bookcase on the left side has three oak shelves. Locks and key are in good working order. This wonderful Art Deco Modernist desk with asymmetric open bookcase is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
