Magnificent and ultra rare Art Deco Amsterdamse School lounge chair. Design by Cornelis van der Sluys. Striking Dutch design from 1918. Sculptural solid oak frame and re-upholstered with a multi-colored high quality premium fabric by a Dutch well known visual artist Christie van der Haak, her work is in several Dutch museums but also in the Wolfsonian Museum in Miami! This wonderful Art Deco Amsterdamse School lounge chair by Cornelis van der Sluys is in very good original condition with a beautiful patina. Cornelis van der Sluys was very much inspired by the designs of the famous Amsterdamse School architects Michel de Klerk and Piet Kramer during this period. A real eye catcher in your home or office.
