Magnificent and ultra rare pair of Art Deco Modernist high back armchairs. Design by Cor Alons and executed by Fa. Winterkamp & Van Putten in 1927. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak and black lacquered base with original black lacquered refinished back rests. Seats are re-upholstered with mustard yellow Manchester corduroy fabric. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. A real eye-catcher for your home or office.
