This substantial lidded box features a deep teal green ground with romantic floral garland and ribbon motif wrapping continuously around the body and lid. The interior is painted a rich coral-red tone, creating a beautiful contrast against the exterior.

The piece has the look and feel of vintage toleware or old European wash basin forms, with a lightweight metal construction reminiscent of antique aluminum or painted metal tubs. Brass-tone side handles and hand-painted detailing give it a collected English-country-house aesthetic that works beautifully in layered interiors.
